2008 FRONT RANGE SNOWPACK MELTOFF VIRTUALLY COMPLETE
Boulder County and the Colorado watershed seasonal snowpack has completed spring meltout slightly earlier then average in both the South Platte and Colorado River basins despite above average winter accumulation. The BASIN 2002 drought information center documents how many Front Range communities are dependent on annual mountain snowpack accumulation.
BASIN now provides a Water Quality Index for the main stem of Boulder Creek along with other Water Quality information for the Boulder Creek Watershed.
